Goals:
Musical - Phrasing, Rhythmic security, Dynamic awareness
Technical: Separated style of articulation, Using selected sections of the bow for dynamic coloring. Start with "C-Do", using the first finger on the G String.
Important - Readiness: Can your student echo the rhythmic patterns? This is essential to the success of CIRCUS PARADE.
1. Sing using neutral syllables to suggest a marching band.
2. Repeat, but use solfege for the first syllable of each phrase.
